As a mobility aid, this aid plays an important part in daily living routines. When a vulnerable person starts to wander, it can lead to falls and accidents. To protect against this happening, some people need to be monitored - and in the course of a busy day, it isn’t always easy to be vigilant. The Chair leaving Detector Alarm is an invaluable way of ensuring someone is safe and that the carer, friend, or family member can get on with other everyday tasks while ensuring daily living continues for the person being looked after.
The kit comes complete with the chair pressure pad, a 5 channel alarm receiver, and a multi-functional sensor transmitter. The transmitter has a long range transmission of up to 200 metres (218 yards). It is powered by 3 x AAA batteries (not included) which provide up to six months of continuous use with a low battery warning LED. There is an optional mains AC power adaptor available.
